Industrial Speedcore Black Metal Mix 5 - Tribute To Legionz Ov Hell

Part 5 in this mix series focusing on Industrial Metal and Blackened Speedcore. This time it's a special featuring just tracks by swedish duo Legionz Of Hell. This project came to the spotlight in 2001 with a 12" on the legendary "Speedcore" sublabel of the Street Trash Alliance run by Martin Damm aka The Speedfreak.
Apart from that release, there are only two other releases known, two demo CD-Rs. So the project seemingly faltered after having made an impact - such a shame.
Industrial Black Metal is often a bit soft on the drums compared to Hardcore Techno genres, but this is not the case here. Complete insane Speedcore drums attacks are mixed with piercing vocals and an almost orchestral atmosphere of synths and sounds. This is just madness, and one of the most extreme outings in the ISBM genre. Definitely more on the "Blackened Speedcore" than "IBM" side this time. Blast after blast of drums are unleashed on the lister, but the sound also has calm moments - at least a few.
